Timothy John “T.J.” Martin, age 25, died April 2, 2019, in Texas County, OK. He was born December 3, 1993, in Garden City, KS the son of Johnny Dale and Cynthia Jo (Wilson) Martin.
He graduated from Liberal High School in 2012 and attended 1 semester at Seward County Community College.
He attended Faith Tabernacle Church, he was involved in the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program and the boxing club. He enjoyed listening to Lady Gaga music and he enjoyed writing and singing rap music. He was a fan of the Oklahoma University and Kansas City Chief’s Football teams.
He worked at Applebee’s as a cook, he worked at Taco Bell as a cashier and he worked at Billy’s Blue Duck BBQ as a cook.

He was preceded in death by his Father Johnny Dale Martin, Stepfather Alan Cole and Grandfather Vern Wilson.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M – 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd street Liberal, KS 67901. Family will be present from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. to greet friends.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Faith Tabernacle Church with Pastor Rex Petty Officiating. Burial will be in Liberal Cemetery.
