Thomas Dales Frederick, aged 26, left us too soon on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Hugoton, Kansas. Born on July 9, 1998, in Woodward, Oklahoma, he was the cherished son of Thomas Roger and Susan Gayle (Austin) Frederick.

Growing up in Hugoton, Thomas was a bright light in the community and graduated from Hugoton High School with the class of 2017. He created countless memories with his classmates, always lighting up the field whether during sports or shared adventures, his laughter ringing through the halls. Following high school, Thomas pursued his passion for the power industry at Northwest Linemen College in Denton, Texas, where he earned the skills that paved the way for his rewarding career as a lineman with the City of Hugoton. He shared a special bond with his co-workers, who admired him not only for his work ethic but for the joy he brought to every day.

Thomas had a personality like no other; his smile was bright and infectious, bringing happiness to everyone he met. He found great joy in hunting and golfing, pursuits that he cherished deeply. He was also the loving owner of a special rescue dog, Browning.

Family meant everything to Thomas. He was particularly close to his parents, Tom and Sue Frederick, and his brother Nic, along with Nic’s wife, Kelcee. Together they created beautiful memories on numerous family vacations that showcased the love and support they offered one another. Thomas took immense pride in becoming an uncle, first to Ford Austin and just a few weeks ago to Cleo Lynn. His affection and playful spirit made him the favorite fun uncle among the little ones.

He is survived by his loving parents, Tom and Sue Frederick; his brother Nic Frederick and his wife Kelcee; his cherished nephew, Ford Austin Frederick; and his sweet niece, Cleo Lynn Frederick; maternal grandmother Sug Austin; aunts, and uncles, Bryan and Vicky Frederick, Ted and Brenda Frederick, Mary McDermott, Jane Austin, Andy Austin, Jae Yang, and Dr. Tom and Julie Esposito; cousins Cody Frederick and his wife Leslie and their children Cooper and Heidi, Logan Frederick and his wife Kayli and their children Emily and Theo, Gracie and Hope McDermott, Trysten, Tanna, Tierrah Frederick; and many other relatives and friends.

He was met at Heaven’s Gates by his paternal grandparents Roger and Shirley Frederick; maternal grandfather Gail Austin; uncle Mike Frederick; cousin Hudson Frederick.
