Theodore (Ted) Leslie Correll

Theodore (Ted) Leslie Correll, age 72, of Ulysses, Kansas died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born October 27, 1940 in Lamar, Colorado, the son of Donald L. and Rosa Lee (Martin) Correll.

Ted graduated from Grant County Rural High School in 1959. He worked for Cities Service and retired after 35 years from Williams Natural Gas in 1999. On June 5, 1960, he married Berniece Young. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, classic cars, car shows and drinking coffee with his friends.

Survivors include his wife, Berniece of the home; his mother, Rosa Lee Correll of Ulysses, Kansas; two daughters, Annette Nichols and husband Jerald of Manter, Kansas, Vicki Koehn and husband Joe of Hesston, Kansas; two brothers, Tom Correll of Yorba Linda, California, Marty Correll of Linwood, Kansas; three grandchildren, Cody Milligan, Jeraca Rader, MacKenzie Koehn; and three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Rilynn Milligan and Gavin Rader.

Ted is preceded in death by his father, Donald.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Country View Baptist Church in Ulysses, Kansas with Reverend Sam Bynum officiating. Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
