Terri Diana Long

Joe Denoyer - February 23, 2021 7:26 am

Terri Diana Long went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 19, 2021. She was born in Perryton, TX to Garland and Della Pugh on July 29, 1961. At the age of 3 she was adopted by Ronnie Lawson and the family moved to Beaver, OK where she grew up along with her sisters Denise, Shannon, LeeAnn, and brother Cody.
It was in Liberal, KS that she met the love of her life, Timothy Long, and they were married on December 5, 1987. Terri and Tim, along with their children settled in Liberal and started their business Panhandle Oilfield. During their time in Liberal, Terri poured her time and energy into raising her children, attending all their sporting events and school activities, and building their business. In 2013, Terri and Tim moved to Edmond, OK where she also became a real estate investor. What brought her such joy was investing her time and energy in her business so she could help build a future for her kids and grandkids.
With her faith as the foundation for which she lived her daily life, she did enjoy many things throughout her life. She loved shopping, reading books about Heaven, and traveling. She specifically had a love for the color pink and peacocks. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.
Terri was preceded in death by both of her fathers. She is survived by her beloved husband Tim; sons Ty Williams and his wife Annie, Tanner Long and his wife Lacy; stepdaughter Casie Curtis; her mother Della Lawson; and 13 wonderful grandchildren Isaiah, Hanna, Elijah, Madeline, Cait, Knox, Oakley, Harlow, Kyler, Joselynn, Christian, Brysie, and J.J.
Terri loved the Lord with all her being and had her complete trust and faith in Him. She was a true example of what resilience meant…. She adapted well in the face of adversity, adjusted easily to change, and grew in her faith. She fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. She is now crowned with righteousness in the presence of her heavenly Father. Her compassion for others and Christian faith is the wonderful legacy she leaves for her family and friends.
A Memorial service to celebrate Terri’s life is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, February 26, 2021 at Faith Bible Church in Edmond, OK (600 N. Coltrane Rd). The family welcomes flowers, please have them sent to Smith and Kernke or memorials in Terri’s name may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
