Tammy Elaine Ballesteros

Tammy Elaine Ballesteros, age 33, died Friday, June 21, 2019, near Guymon, Oklahoma. She was born January 23, 1986, in Guymon, Oklahoma, the daughter of Inez V. and LuAnn (Welsch) Hernandez.

Tammy was a traveling nurse for Nurse Link Staffing Inc. of Hugoton. She loved her family, dancing and singing. Tammy was always smiling and laughing. She married Santiago Ballesteros in 2013.

Survivors include her husband, Santiago of their home; children, Shawn Jacob Hernandez of Elkhart, and Joshua Medine of Houston, Texas, Sasha Hernandez, Luanna Hernandez, Julian Hernandez, and Calia Hernandez all of Elkhart; mother, LuAnn Hernandez of Elkhart; and sister, Trena Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Tammy is preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Welsch.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 3:00 PM at Elkhart Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Ferguson officiating.
