Tammie Elaine Kurth, 58, died August 3, 2019 at Southwest Medical Center, in Liberal, KS.

She was born in Kansas City, MO. October 1, 1960, where she was loving adopted by George Washington Lee and Betty L. Heger Lee.

She attended Hugoton High school graduating in 1978. She then attended Seward County College for 2 years graduating in 1980 and attending Fort Hays State University for two years graduating in 1982. She was then accepted into the Washburn School of Law and graduated in 1986.

Tammie married Gerald L. Kurth August 16, 1986 at her grandparents O.W. & Versia Heger farm near Hugoton, KS.

She worked for Sharp McQueen Law offices in Liberal, KS and later served 10 years in her own practice. She was the Best Lawyer in 3 States!

She loved music, especial, Neil Diamond, and she was the best drummer in the Southwest

Tammie is survived by her husband, Gerald, Mother Betty Lee, Sons, Jerron Kurth of Liberal, KS. Bret Kurth of Grand Lake, OK. John Kurth of Atchison, KS. Daughters, Lisa Matile of Liberal, KS. and Lisa Pipkin of Liberal,KS. Sister, Kelly (Bill) Baughn of Boulder, CO. Grandchildren, Amaree, Maliak, Zarian, Nazriah, Jeshual and Samara Mohamed.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Brandee, Father, George Lee, Grandparents, Uncle, Gary Heger and Aunt, Erma Heger.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 8, 2019 9:00 am to 8:00 pm with family greeting family and friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00. pm.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Friday, August 9, 2019 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in Lone Star Cemetery in Woods, KS.
