Steven James Downing, age 32, died Sunday, January 19, 2020, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born September 15, 1987 in Liberal, Kansas the son of David and Leslie Downing. He attended Liberal Schools and obtained his GED in 2005. Steven was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Liberal, Kansas.
His favorite pastimes were fishing and camping. He also enjoyed golfing.

Khya Downing of Turpin, Oklahoma

Diana Ebersole of Liberal, Kansas
Uncle Scott Sickler of Overgaard, Arizona

Maranda Caffey of Lawrence, Kansas
Steven was preceded in death by his father, David. Paternal grandparents: Delbert and Darlene Downing and maternal grandparents: Don and Betty Sickler.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 23rd, 2020 at Brenneman Funeral Home from 2:00PM – 7:00PM.
Funeral Service will be Friday, January 24th, 2020 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00AM with Pastor Erin Rush presiding. Burial to follow at Liberal Cemetery.
