Stephen Anthony Rogacki

Stephen Anthony Rogacki, 72, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015 at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born Aug. 3, 1943 to Stephen P. and Velma (Volle) Rogacki in Marysville.
He married Zadie Neal.
He graduated in 1960 from St. Mary’s High School in Colorado Springs, Colo.
He then went on to get his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University.
He worked in Liberal for many years, first for Northern Natural Gas and finally for the Kansas Department of Transportation.
He served in the US Air Force from March 1964 to Sept. 1968.
Survivors include son, Neal Rogacki, Loveland, Colo.; daughter, Shannon Autobee, Brighton, Colo.; brothers: Gary Lynn, Boulder, Colo., Paul David Rogacki, Irvine, Calif., Patrick Rogacki, Colorado Springs, Colo., Philip Rogacki, Longmont, Colo., Joe Rogacki, Colorado Springs, Colo. and George Rogacki, Mountain Home, Ark; sisters: Mary Rogacki, Morrison, Colo., Jean Rogacki, Henderson, Colo. and Carol Rogacki, Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandchildren, Neal and Zadie Autobee; and special friend, Ella Pennington and family, Liberal.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
• There will be no services but friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at Brenneman Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Friends may also call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12 at Horan – McConaty Funeral Home in Denver. The family will be present to greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. that day.
Cremation will follow visitation time and burial will take place at Fort Logan National Veterans Cemetery in Denver.
