Stan was a graduate of Stanford University where he received his B.S. in Mathematics in 1969 as well as a 1972 graduate of Stanford Law. He spent his 30-plus law career as Chief Counsel for the UnitedStatesPostalService.
He loved gardening, darts, an occasional single malt scotch, collecting stamps, crossword puzzles and his prized train collection.
