Sherry Lynn Stebens

Sherry Lynn Stebens, 59, of Liberal, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

She was born on November 19, 1959 to Paul and Ida (Kauffman) Crail at Liberal, KS.

On September 27, 1982 she married Ron L. Stebens in Liberal, KS; he preceded her in death on January 3, 2006

Sherry grew up in Liberal and was a graduate of Liberal High School; class of 1977. She later went to obtain her Associate Degree through Seward County Community College in 1999. Sherry was employed as a Surgical Technician at Southwest Medical Center then went to work with Dr. Mona Rane. Sherry loved animals, reading, and spending time with her friends & family! She was a former member of Liberal ELKS and Liberal Country Club.

Sherry is survived by Three Sons- Kody Stebens and wife Morgan of Lawrence, KS, Tyler Stebens and Jared Stebens of Perkins, OK; Stepdaughter – Kelli McCarty-Oseen of Austin, TX; Half-Daughter- Kyli Abbatoye of Belton, TX; Granddaughter- Brooklynn Stebens; Grandson- Maddux Stebens; Sister- Sandy Gray of Fulshear, TX; Brother- Steve Crail of Liberal, KS.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.

Memorial Services will be 10:00 am Monday, January 28, 2019, at the Western Ave. Church of Christ, with Pastor Rex Petty, officiating.

Memorials are suggested to the Stebens Family Scholarship fund in care of Miller Mortuary PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67905-0826.
