Sharon Rogers, 82, lifelong area resident, passed away Saturday evening, September 3, 2022 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

The daughter of Willis R. and LaNelle Maxine (Campbell) Davison. She was born May 23, 1940 in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Sharon attended school in Liberal, graduating with the Class of 1958. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, avid card player and enjoyed watching the Bee Jays baseball games. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Liberal.

She was married to Jimmie Rogers on Oct. 10, 1978 in Clayton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2020. She was married to Don Witzke on December 10, 2021 in Liberal.

Sharon was office manager and partner of Jimmie Rogers Trucking for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, her husband Jimmie Rogers, a sister Sandra Day, and her furry kids Tiff and Princess.

Survivors include two daughters, Brigitte Flores and Mylo Salinas of Liberal and Brenda Rogers and Michael Roney of Piedmont, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Dustin Myrick and Heather Olmstead; three great grandchildren: Ethan and Brynley Olmstead and Kyler Myrick; two step daughters, Tracie Hough and RoxAnn Witzke both of Liberal. Survivors also include two sisters, Patsy Kost of Turpin, Oklahoma and Joyce Sanders of Bethany, Oklahoma, and three brothers, Bud Davison of Daytona, Florida, Jim Davison of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Jo Davison of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Family visitation will be Thursday evening, September 8th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral services will be Friday morning, September 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the Fellowship Church in Liberal with Pastor Tyler Prater officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberal City Cemetery.
