Sharon D. Wickwar

Sharon D. Wickwar, age 74, died Friday, May 26, 2023, at her home in Ulysses, Kansas. She was born September 1, 1948, in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Dale L. and Anne (Bennett) Limper.

Sharon grew up in Ulysses and attended Ulysses schools. She obtained her real estate license and was a realtor and owner of Aztec Realty in Ulysses. She also owned and operated Kountry Kool bar. Sharon was a talented artist and enjoyed painting, and loved spoiling her dogs. She lived in Green Valley, Arizona, for many years before returning to Ulysses. Sharon married John Wickwar on March 5, 2002, in Laughlin, Nevada, he preceded her in death in 2010.

Sharon is survived by her son, Bryan Foos of Perryton, Texas; brother, Ron Limper of Ulysses; two granddaughters, Brianna and Alyssa; three great-grandchildren, Bristol, Dallas and Declan; and many friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Marsha Metcalfe; and sister-in-law, Wanda Limper.
