Sharetta Lee Miller, 66, of Hooker, Oklahoma passed away March 8, 2020 at her home.

Shari was born January 28, 1954 in Liberal, Kansas, the daughter of Doug and Lotus Johnston Smith. The family lived in Elkhart, Kansas till Shari was six and then moved to Hooker, Oklahoma where she attended school. She graduated from Hooker High School with the Class of 1973.

She was united in marriage to Ronnie Whitney of February 2, 1973. They lived in Wichita, Kansas until 1985, at which time she moved back to Hooker. While in Wichita she worked as a nurse.

On April 19, 1988 she was married to Dwain Miller and they made Hooker their home.

Shari liked working with her family’s genealogy and helped with the creation of the cemetery directory. She was an avid Oklahoma Sooner and OKC Thunder fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Dwain of the home; son, Michael and Patricia Whitney of Springtown, Texas; daughter, Michele Whitney of Hooker, Oklahoma; brothers, Quin and Esther Smith of Dallas, Texas and Terry and Debbie Smith of Orting, Washington; sisters, Mica and Rebb Haynes of Cherokee, Oklahoma and Ann and Larry Blankenship of Hooker, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Andrew Whitney, Calleen Whitney, Jason Wisner and Levi Wisner; also many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews

There are no services currently scheduled. Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma is in charge of arrangements.
