Rosella “Rosie” Ediger

Rosella “Rosie” Ediger, age 81, died Thursday, December 19, 2013, at her Meade, Kansas, residence.
She was born November 7, 1932, at Meade, Kansas, the daughter of Henry J. and Margaret (Classen) Isaac. As a young girl she attended and graduated from the Meade Bible Academy in rural Meade County.
On May 14, 1952, she married Frank N. Ediger in rural Meade County. After their marriage, the couple made their home in rural Meade County, as her husband farmed and ranched, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Countryside Bible Church, rural Meade. She enjoyed music, cooking, extending hospitality, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by:
A son, Darwin Ediger of rural Meade, Kansas
A daughter, Wynelle Ediger of rural Meade, Kansas
A brother, Don Isaac of rural Meade, Kansas
Five grandchildren, Carissa, Lacey, Tyler, Shaina, and Sherrese
Six great-grandchildren, Roman, Nevada, Hudson, Truman, Jackson, Lamar, and Libby
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank, on June 30, 1995; a daughter Wanda Ediger; a brother, Harvey Isaac; and two sisters, Esther Wiens and Erna Hedstrom.
Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013, at the Countryside Bible Church, rural Meade. Interment will take place prior to the service at 1:30 p.m. in the Countryside Bible Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
The family would welcome memorials to the Countryside Bible Church Cemetery Improvement Fund in care of the funeral home.
