Rose Marie Ramirez 58, died Wednesday Sept. 2, 2015 at Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX. She was born May 3, 1957 in Walsenburg, CO. the daughter of Filimon and Carmen (Duran) Lucero. She graduated in 1974 from East High School in Pueblo, Co. She attended and graduated from Seward County Community College. She was a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She had been employed by National Beef Packing Plant, Dillons, Kansas Children Service League, and First Baptist Church Day Care and was currently the Director of the First Presbyterian Childcare Center.
In 1988 she married Luis Ramirez in Liberal, KS. He survives.

She was preceded in death by her Parents a Brother Donald Lucero and a brother in law Alex Castro.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Fr. George Fajardo presiding. Burial will be held in Liberal Cemetery. Rosary will be held at 7:00pm Monday, Sept. 7, 2015 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Visitation time will be 9am to 8pm Saturday and 1-5pm Sunday at Brenneman Funeral Home and 5 pm Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers and plants memorials may sent to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church or American Cancer Society in care of Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
