Rosalie (Rose) Collum, age 86, of Ulysses, Kansas, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born June 15, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of George P. and Elsie (Pentz) Diepenbrock.

Rose married Jesse Allen Collum on October 2, 1950, in St. Louis. She worked for USD 214 as the Food Service Director for 30 years. She enjoyed bowling, playing golf and tennis. Later in life, Rose enjoyed going dancing and gambling.

Rose is survived by two sons, Jesse Collum and wife Robin of Ulysses, and Edward Collum and wife Denise of Enumclaw, Washington; brother, Rex Halsey of Watersmeet, Michican; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. 

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, George and Elsie Diepenbrock; husband, Jesse; daughter, Sandra Lee Collum; and brother, George Diepenbrock.
