Rosalee Phillips, age 74, died Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & E.R. in Wichita, KS. She was born July 30, 1944 in Miami, OK, the daughter of Vernon and Ethel (Norris) Powers.

She graduated from Fairland High School, Fairland, OK. She attended NOE A&M at Miami, OK.

On November 24, 1963 she married Clay Phillips at Lakewood, CO. He survives.

She was the Executive Secretary for the International Pancake Day Board, with Virginia Leete, for 23 years. She enjoyed football, basketball, bowling, playing bridge and cross-stitch which she was meticulous in her detailed and beautiful works. She was a member of the Southwest Medical Center Auxiliary, Soroptimist International, Newcomers Club, Welcome Wagon Lady (welcoming new residents to Liberal), she was always promoting Liberal, managed the Tourist Information Center, PTA member, a school volunteer and That Liberal Band Booster.

She was a homemaker.

Kathryn Gallo Cleveland, TN
Marilyn Thomas Cleveland, TN

4 Grandchildren Kelsi Marie Oyler, Brendan Phillips, Jason Oyler and Shayna Rose Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 Brother Jim Myers.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 1, 2019 at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Liberal with Pastor Erin Rush, presiding. Burial will be in the Liberal Cemetery, Liberal, KS.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Brenneman Funeral Home to greet friends.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Southwest Medical Center Auxiliary or the International Pancake Day Foundation in care of the Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
