Rosa Lee Correll

On April 18, 2016, Rosa Lee Correll passed away at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, Kansas from congenital heart disease. She was 93 years old.

Rosa Lee Correll was born in Coldwater, Kansas, on April 26, 1922. Her parents were Glenn and Ann (Stauffer) Martin. She married Donald Correll in Pratt, Kansas on March 19, 1940. They moved to Ulysses, Kansas in 1947 where Donald was employed for 40 years with Ulysses Co-op Elevator. Rosa Lee enjoyed acrylic painting. She sold her paintings at craft shows and to local patrons.

She is survived her sons, Tom Correll of Yorba Linda, California, and Marty of Olathe, Kansas; two sisters, Beverly Johnson and Mary Martin both from Colorado; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Rosa Lee is preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald in 1999; son Ted; three brothers, Eldon, Howard and Glenn; and one sister, Marge Bauer.

Funeral service will be Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Country View Baptist Church in Ulysses with Reverend Sam Bynum officiating. Interment will follow at Ulysses Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
