Ronna Rae Duerson, 70, of Liberal, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at her home.

She was born on July 4, 1951 to Earl and Bridget (Zorn) Pittser at Russell, KS.

On July 19, 1974 she married James L. “Jim” Duerson, at Clayton, NM; Jim preceded her in death on March 2, 2003.

Ronna enjoyed cooking, bingo, gardening, playing cards, and loved dog & cats. She was “a mom to many, a mother of three”.

Ronna is survived by her Daughter, Andrea Duerson and Eric Gleason of Topeka, KS; Two Sons, John Duerson and wife Chayli of Liberal, KS, James Lee Duerson, Jr. of Turpin, OK; Grandson, James “Trapper” Duerson, III of Edmond, OK; Two Granddaughters, Trysta Duerson of Edmond, OK, Savannah Rae Stalker of Topeka, KS; many Nieces & Nephews, and Great Nieces and Nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Lonnie Pittser, her sister, Donna Michaelis and a brother in law, Don Michaelis; all of Liberal, KS.

There will be no viewing as cremation has been entrusted to Miller Mortuary.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday March 7, 2022 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel with Inurnment to follow at Restlawn Cemetery.

The family requests that no flowers be sent to the service as per Ronna’s specific instruction.
