Ronald R. Garber

Ronald R. Garber, age 35, passed away early Sunday morning, July 10, 2016, in rural Meade County, Kansas, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born April 27, 1981, at Coffeyville, Kansas, the son of Ronald E. and Lori (Stevens) Garber. As a young boy he attended school in Coffeyville. After his schooling, he joined the United States Army serving for four years. A resident of Meade since August, 2008, moving from Coffeyville, he was a diesel mechanic for Foley Caterpillar of Dodge City, Kansas.
He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed restoring classic muscle cars, camping, and riding motorcycles.
On November 20, 2000, he married Jennifer Sexton at Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
He is survived by:
- Two daughters,Gwendlyn Garber of Meade, Kansas, Lisa Garber of Meade, Kansas
- His father,Ronald E. Garber of Coffeyville, Kansas
- His mother, Lori Moynihan of Bartlesville, Oklahoma
- A brother, Dakota Garber of Bartlesville, Oklahoma
- Two sisters,Karlee Grana of Bartlesville, Oklahoma,Cherokee Garber of Chaney, Kansas
He is preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Stevens.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2016 at the First Southern Baptist Church, Coffeyville, Kansas. Interment will follow in the Robbins Cemetery, rural Coffeyville. Celebration of life services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
The family would welcome memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
