Ronald “Joe” Robichaux, Jr. age 34, of Ulysses, Kansas died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at his home in Ulysses, Kansas. He was born August 6, 1977 in Raceland, Louisiana, the son of Ronald Joseph and Edna (Loupe) Robichaux, Sr.
Joe grew up in Raceland, Louisiana and graduated from Lafourche High School in Raceland. He was a bull rider and member of the Louisiana High School Rodeo Association. Joe married Wanda Desselle on October 30, 2004 in Louisiana. Joe and his family moved to Ulysses seven years ago. He worked at Grant County Feeders and was currently a pen rider at Cactus Feeders of Ulysses.
He is survived by his wife; Wanda of the home, daughter; Ashlee Gaspard of Ulysses, Kansas, son; D.J. Gaspard of Ulysses, Kansas, parents; Ronald “Roach” and Edna Robichaux of Raceland, Louisiana, sisters; Addie Boquet and husband Brian, and Libby Robichaux all of Raceland, Louisiana, godchild; Emmett Adams, nieces; Brenna Boquet and Emma Boquet.
Friends may call Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses. Funeral service and final resting place will be in Raceland, Louisiana. Local arrangements are in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880.
