Roger Gene Lamcke , 94, of Liberal, Kansas died Friday, February 4, 2022 at Southwest Medical Center.
He was born October 25, 1927 at Climbing Hill, Iowa, the son of Ira and Margarite (Day) Lamcke.
He was married to Marion Johnson from 1948 to 1968 having two daughters from this marriage, Linda and Brenda.
On November 2, 1969 he married Faye (Smith) White at Forgan, OK; from which he gained four more kids, Tony, Kenny, Leisa, and Jerry. Faye preceded Roger in death in 2009.
Roger was a graduate of Climbing Hill High School; class of 1945. While in High School he played basketball and loved the game until the end of his days. He worked most of his life in the Beef Packing Industry and retired as a Maintenance Supervisor for National Beef Packing Co. in Liberal, Kansas. A Christian throughout his life, Roger was Baptized and Confirmed in Sioux City, Iowa during the month of June 1962.
His survivors include Three Daughters, Linda Jungferman of Portland, OR, Brenda Cline of Aurora, CO, and Leisa Williams of Bradenton, FL,; Two Sons, Tony (Janet) Keeth of Smyer, TX, and Jerry (Beth) White of Forgan, OK; Nephews, Howard Lamcke, Vernon Lamcke, Bill Fuson, and Bruce McCall; Grandchildren, Josh, Hannah, Jennifer, Jessica, Julie, Jocelyn, Jesse, Jerrad, and Whitney; 16 Great Grandchildren.
Roger was also preceded in death by his Parents, Son, Kenny Keeth; Son-In-Laws, Steve Jungferman. Andre Cline, and Jeff Williams; Grandchildren, Brandee, Brandon, and Bradley Williams.
As requested per Roger’s family, there will be no viewing and a private burial will be held.
