Robert “Sonny” Lewis Fox

Robert “Sonny” Lewis Fox, age 73, passed away October 29, 2020 in Stonewall, LA.

He was born to Robert B. and Florence L. (Elledge) Fox on August 11, 1947 in Liberal, Kansas. He was raised in southwest Kansas, spending his early years in Plains, KS before moving to Hugoton, KS in 1955.

He was a farmer, mechanic, car salesman and a jack of many other trades.

He enjoyed tinkering with cars, hot rods, and motorcycles.

Survivors include sons: Robert (Wayne) Fox and wife, Joanna, Stonewall, Louisiana; Shayne Fox and wife, Marci, Marquette, Kansas; Dustin Fox and wife Lacy, Kinsley, Kansas; Son in law, Michael Hudley, San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Isaac Fox, Lindsay Fox, Kylie Fox, Kayla Fox, Lilyann Fox, Amyelia Fox, Robert (Elliott) Fox, Naomi Fox, Jada Towns and Thomas Hudley; sisters, Roberta Cross and husband Jim, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Dana Swan of Hugoton, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Danielle (Daisy) Fox.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday November 7, 2020 at 10AM at the Plains Cemetery in Plains, Kansas with Pastor Pam Peachey officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 6, 2020 from 5PM. to 7:00PM at the My Father’s House in Hugoton.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the wonderful staff at Regional Hospice.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Fox, Shayne Fox, Dusty Fox, Tony Carrier, Chris Swan and Isaac Fox.
