Richardo “Rick” A. Tercero

Richardo “Rick” A. Tercero, 45, of Liberal, passed away on Tuesday July 2, 2019 in a work accident in Rural Seward County.

He was born on October 11, 1973 to Bertha (Alvidrez) Torres at Alpine, TX.

On November 5, 2011 he married Jessica Pahl in Guymon, OK.

Rick was a graduate of Seminole, Texas High School; class of 1992. In 1993 Rick enlisted into the U. S. Marine Corp where he received numerous awards and was Honorably Discharged in 1997. He worked as a Oil Pumper for Merrit Energy Services. Rick enjoyed building guns, the outdoors, watching his favorite sports teams including the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Longhorns and the Texas Rangers. Rick loved being a dad! He was a member of Knights of Columbus and the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal.

Rick is survived by his wife Jessica; Four Daughters- Madison Tercero of Amarillo, TX; Mia Tercero of Midland, TX; Mykenzie Tercero and Mykayla Tercero, both of Liberal; Mother – Bertha Torres of Seminole, TX; Two Sisters- Brenda Chavez of Seminole, TX, Estella Torres of Seminole, TX; Four Brothers- Albert Tercero of Midland, TX, Frank Tercero of Midland, TX, Armando Alvidrez of Midland, TX, Jesse Torres of Seminole, TX; Grandmother- Pabla Alvidrez of Seminole, TX.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather – Epifino Alvidrez .

Viewing will be 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm Friday, July 5th at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, KS.

Vigil Service will be at 7:00 pm Friday, July 5th at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday, July 6th at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal

Graveside Services will be 11:00 am Monday July 8th at St. Agnes Cemetery near Pretty Prairie, Kansas.
