Richard Roberts, 66-years old of Tyrone, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, October 7 th , 2021 in Andover, Kansas
Richard Clement Roberts was born June 30, 1955 in Plainville, Kansas to Harold and Rosemary (Phlieger) Roberts. He attended Hickman Mills high school and after graduation he entered the oil and gas industry and eventually he started his own Contract Pumping Company.
On August 18, 1990 Richard united in marriage to Eva (Yates) Triscornia in Liberal, Kansas. Richard loved to travel and was especially fond of the mountains. Richard was an avid Drag Racing enthusiast and participated in the sport for many years. Richard was a guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He was quick to help others in any way necessary and was loved by many.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents: Harold and Rosemary Roberts And two grandchildren: Gabriella Adkison and Nikki Adkison. Richard is survived by his wife Eva, one step-daughter; Cherree Adkison and her husband Al Adkison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one son: Derrick and his wife Star Triscornia of Olathe, Kansas, and five sisters; Priscilla Moran and husband Tom Moran, of Raymore, Missouri, Monica Mann and husband Donald Mann of Independence, Missouri, Katherine Smith and husband Wayne Smith of Minneapolis, Kansas, Annette Hug and husband Chip Hug of Westchester, Pennsylvania, Donna Vest and husband Steven Vest of Clinton, Missouri; and one brother Matthew Roberts and wife Brenda of Green Cove Springs, Florida, four grandchildren; Joseph Triscornia, Heaven Triscornia, Donte Adkison and Dominic Adkison, one Godson; Adeniyi Badajo and wife Jennifer Garza and their son Joshua Badajo of Garden City, Kansas.
Rosary Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 15 th , 2021 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Guymon, Oklahoma. Following the Rosary the funeral will begin at 12:00 Noon at the same church. The interment will follow at the Tyrone City Cemetery in Tyrone, Oklahoma with Father Jerome Krug presiding.
