Randall Dale Janzen

Randall Dale Janzen, age 64, died February 10, 2015 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS. He was born August 19, 1950 in Newton, KS, the son of Arthur and Helen (Schmidt) Janzen.

He graduated from Newton High School in 1968. He graduated from El Dorado JUCO in 1970 and He graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He had lived in the Liberal area for 34 years.

On August 18, 1973 he married Rachel Siemens in Inman, Ks. She survives.

He worked as a data processing supervisor at Nash Finch for 16 years. He was employed at National Beef Packing Company as a load controller. He has been at National Beef Packing Company for 24 years and had been a supervisor in the freezer department.

He enjoyed playing golf, woodworking and fishing.

Survivors include
1 Son Kristopher Janzen and wife Whitney Edmond, OK

1 Daughter Kristina Brady Liberal, KS

2 Grandchildren Skyler and Ashlynn Brady.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Trinity Faith Church in Liberal, KS with Pastor Jack Jacob, presiding.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation. Friends may sign the guest book from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday, February 20, 2015 at Brenneman Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at a later date.
