Paul Roger Dillon Sr. (Ol’ hombre), 78, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020, Satanta District Hospital, Satanta, Kansas.

Son of George Nathan and Ferol Louise (Defenbaugh) Dillon, he was born February 10, 1942, Jacksonville, Florida on the Naval Air Base.

He and Keithetta Russell married on January 26, 1973, Ulysses, Kansas.

Paul loved his horses and enjoyed breaking colts. In his “younger” years he could tear-up the dance floor. He enjoyed painting, cooking, woodworking, and he loved watching Nascar. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family. While he worked hard to support his family he always found time to take them on several exciting vacations.

He is survived by wife Keithetta, Satanta, KS.; sons, Paul R. Dillon Jr. and wife Sandy, Seattle, WA., Lonte Dillon and Valerie, Louisville, KY.; daughters, Karen Dillon and husband Stephen Pite, Montpellier, VA., Jill Belbusti and husband Frank, Orange, CT., Darlene Bennett and husband Shawn, Jetmore, KS., LaDonna Commons and husband Dana, Herington, KS.; brothers, Floyd Dillon and wife Fairlyn, Austin, TX., James Dillon and wife Jane, Emory, TX.; grandchildren, Shabre, Frank, Tyler, Clementine, Anthony, Arthur, Tayler, Annabel, Avery; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Olivia, Owen, and Cora; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Dakota Dillon-Pite and brother, George Dillon Jr..

A memorial has been established for the Wounded Warrior Project. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 747, Satanta, Kansas, 67870.

Friends and family may sign the book on Friday, February 28, 2020, 10 AM to 8 PM, family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM Robson Funeral Home, Satanta.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Dudley Township Cemetery at 2 PM.

Robson Funeral Home, Satanta is in charge of arrangements.
