Patty Ann Graham, age 78, of Manter, Kansas died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit in Johnson, Kansas. She was born May 1, 1936 in Madison, Kansas, the daughter of Turner A. and Delia (Sutherland) Brown.
Pat grew up in Ada, Oklahoma and Hill City, Kansas. Pat, a homemaker, worked at the ASCS office and Unique Flowers & Gifts in Johnson. She married Forrest “Bud” Loyd on December 12, 1953, they later divorced in 1978. Pat married Gary Graham on July 28, 1984. Pat enjoyed bird watching, playing cards and bingo, painting and drawing, growing plants, and spending time with Itchy, her cat.
She is survived by her husband, Gary of the home; son, Marty Loyd of Amarillo, Texas; daughters, Beverly Loyd-Glasscock and husband Richard of Johnson, Kansas, Kim Loyd-Simmons and fiancé Mark Rogers of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Betty Jean Hensley of Marina, California; brother-in-law, Jack Wilkerson of Ada, Oklahoma; and one beloved granddaughter, Kindra Ashe and husband Warren of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Wanda Emory, George Brown, Marguerite Brown, Peggy Wilkerson, and T.A. Brown.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Manter, Kansas with Pastor Mary Courtney officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson, Kansas. Family will greet friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.
