Patricia “Trish” Talbert

Patricia Dale Talbert “Trish”, age 50, of Topeka, Kansas passed away at her home May 11, 2011. She was born June 30, 1960 at Elkhart, KS to Jesse and Gladys (Riley) Talbert.

Growing up, Trish attended Yarbrough and Elkhart schools and Graduated from Elkhart High School in 1979. She married Mike Line in 1979 and had two boys, Trevor and Trenton. In 1988 they moved to Madison Ks. In 1994 Trish moved to Admire Ks. She worked various jobs, including working in medical clinics and a dialysis clinic, which allowed her to help and encourage people, which was one of her gifts. She was currently employed as a patient care manager at Sears Miracle Ear in Topeka KS. Trish attended Highland Park Southern Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas where she was involved with many church activities. Trish loved gardening, walking, reading and shopping. She also loved butterflies, but at the top of her list was playing with her grandkids and she loved her family.

Patricia is survived by 2 sons, Trevor Line and wife Chelsey, and Trenton Line, both of Emporia, Kansas; 2 grandchildren; Hailey Diane Line and Paisley Niccole Line; 2 brothers, Dean and wife Patty Talbert and Richard and wife Maggie Talbert. She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Kaydence Kay Dale Line.

Trish also leaves numerous extended family and many friends who will not forget her smile, and contagious laugh. She touched many lives.

A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Whistlestop Park in care of Garnand Funeral Home, P.O. Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
