Patricia A. Allsbury

Patricia A. Allsbury 64 of Gentry passed away November 30, 2015 in Rogers. She was born October 7, 1951 in Wellington, Texas the daughter of Emmett and Laura Jean Trout King. Patricia retired as an Executive Director for the Homeless Shelter in Liberal, Kansas. She received the High Plains Hero award in 2009 and in 2012, she was selected as a Woman of Distinction by the Liberal Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Rotary Club and was a Board member for Cimarron Basin Community Corrections, an alcohol and drug abuse support provider located in Liberal, Kansas. Preceded in death by her father Emmett “Shorty” King and one sister Anita Jean King.
Patricia is survived by her husband Scott Allsbury of the home; children Chad Allsbury of McPherson, Kansas; Louis Pritchett of Big Springs, Texas; Jarred Allsbury of Garden City, Kansas; Brian Pritchett of Wichita Falls, Texas; Mary Hogan of Springdale and Zachary Allsbury of Durant, Texas; her mother Laura Jean King of Walters, Oklahoma; two sisters Barbara Taylor and Marcia Davis; her brother Darrell King; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Saturday; December 5, 2015 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers with Chaplain Pam Cicioni officiating. Interment will follow in the Springtown Cemetery. Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Patricia Allsbury care account at any Iberiabank.
