Otto Leon “Corky” Parker, 86, of Beaver, Oklahoma passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 6, 2020 in Beaver, Oklahoma.
Corky was born April 19, 1933 to Reuben Anderson and Flora Pattee Parker near Beaver, Oklahoma. He was one of eight children.
On March 3, 1968 in Beaver, Oklahoma Corky was united in marriage to Esther Lollar.
Corky had a passion for his family and work. He owned and operated Parker Construction for thirty years, where he served his community. Corky enjoyed helping his friends and was a beloved member in his hometown of Beaver.
Corky is preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Flora Parker; four brothers, Fred of Tucson, Arizona, Dillard of Elkhart, Kansas, Jake and Reuben of both of Beaver, Oklahoma; two sisters, Lucille Dejonge of Humboldt, Nebraska, Louise Behrends of Lincoln, Nebraska; one grandson, Daniel James Yocum.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Esther Parker of Beaver, Oklahoma; three daughters, Carla Morrison of Pocatello, Idaho, Valerie and Henry Davis of Beaver, Oklahoma, Melissa and James McElhany of Branson, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Brittney Gardner, Edmond Morrison, Ashley and Nick Wilcox, Mathew Davis, Nathan and Adriana Davis, Kemberly Beer, Zach Beer; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Ima Jean Loftin of Amarillo, Texas and a host of family and friends.
Due to the current virus guidelines, a private family graveside will be held at Overton Cemetery near Beaver, Oklahoma.
