Norman Jack Bishop 84, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at his residence in Tyrone, OK.

He was born July 6, 1929 in Grand Rapids, Michigan the son of John & Dorothy (Ludlow) Bishop. He has been a longtime Tyrone resident. He was raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan area and graduated from High School. He attended college and received a degree in

He worked for many years as an self employed carpenter.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

On December 15, 1978 he married Eula Ann Massie in Oklahoma City, OK. She also died Dec. 11, 2012.

He serviced in the U.S. Navy Jan. 46 to Nov. 46.

4 Step-daughters Elizabeth McCauley Wellington, KS

3 Grandchildren Melissa Sue Blakely, Michael Keith Bishop and David Richard Wells
4 Step-grandchildren Tessa Burns, Brady Davis Riley Dean Trimpe and Dylan DeFer.
4 Step Great grandchildren
Preceded in death by parents and one son Brian Bishop.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 17, 2012 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Ford presiding. Burial will take place at Liberal Cemetery.

Visitation time will be held from 1 to 5pm Sunday at Brenneman Funeral Home.

Memorials contributions can be sent to First Christian Church Disciples of Christ or charity of donor’s choice in care of Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
