Norman Hensley, age 65, died Friday, December 13, 2024, at his home in Ulysses, Kansas. He was born December 29, 1958, in Branson, Missouri, the son of Patrick and Nancy Carol (Hall) Davis.
Norman grew up in Missouri and Oklahoma. He married Tammie Blalock on July 17, 1993, in Hudson, Colorado. They moved to Ulysses in 1997, and he worked at Garden City Co-op. Norman retired in May 2024 as the manager of the Hickok Elevator. Among his hobbies, he loved fishing, camping and watching the Denver Broncos and Oklahoma Sooners football teams. Norman was an animal lover and rescued many cats.
Norman is survived by his wife, Tammie, of their home; son, Sean Hensley of Montrose, Colorado; daughters, Paige Crombie of Lehi, Utah, and Catherine Jacobsen of Arvada, Colorado; brother, Tony Davis of Brighton, Colorado; sisters, Tawnja Davis and Jackie Davis both of Crossville, Tennessee; and one granddaughter, Lily Hensley.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Nancy Davis; brother, Patrick Davis; and sister, Sherry Crombie.
