Norma M. Anderson

Norma M. Anderson, age 99, of Ulysses, Kansas died Friday, April 26, 2013 at The Legacy at Park View, Ulysses, Kansas. She was born March 10, 1914 at Lakin, Kansas the daughter of William C. and Ofie M. Nichols.

Norma was a farmwife and homemaker. She was a member of the Shelton Memorial Christian Church, Ulysses, Kansas.

Norma married Allen S. Anderson on November 29, 1934 in Lakin, Kansas and they resided in Grant County. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1990.

Survivors include one daughter; Mary R. Anderson of Ulysses, Kansas.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents and husband and three brothers; Walter, James Clifton and Alvin Nichols.

Funeral service will held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Memorial Christian Church, Ulysses, Kansas with Pastor Phillip Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Shockey Cemetery in rural Grant County, Kansas. Friends may call on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home, Ulysses, KS. Memorial contributions may be given to Shelton Memorial Christian Church or the Grant County Senior Citizen Center in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant, Ulysses, Kansas 67880.
