Nathan Carter, age 47, of Ulysses, Kansas, died Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on May 6, 1977, in Ulysses, Kansas, the son of Robert Glenn and Rosann (Heinrichs) Carter.
Nathan grew up in Grant County and graduated from Ulysses High School. He married Alecia Vaden on December 31, 2011, in Ulysses. Nathan worked in the automation department for Scout Energy Partners. He enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his girls, riding ATV’s, and was a proud collector of Ford Broncos.
Nathan is survived by daughters, Natalie and Emma Carter both of Ulysses; stepdaughter, Brailey Davis; stepson, Braiden Davis both of Oklahoma; two sisters, Cary Rosetta and husband, Tony, of Alabama, and Susan Allee and husband, Jacob, of Arizona; and three grandchildren.
Nathan is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosann Carter.
Memorial service will be Monday, December 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Swann, Jr. officiating. Inurnment will be at the Ulysses Cemetery at a later date.
