Naomi Irene Titus

Naomi Irene Titus, 93, of Liberal, passed away on Saturday March 5, 2022 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.

She was born on November 1, 1928 to Edward and Olive (Birdsall) Nusz at Okeene, OK.

In 1955 she married Donald Singer in Liberal, KS; preceded in death on October 20, 1982.

On November 13, 2003 she married Avon Titus in Liberal, KS; he survives.

Naomi attended school at Okeene High School. Naomi worked at several places in Liberal, including the A&W, the Senior Center, and as a homemaker. She enjoyed camping, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Liberal, KS.

Naomi is survived by her loving husband of 18 years; Avon Titus, Three Daughters, Donna Walker and husband Theron of Kismet, KS, Delores Hamblin and husband Donald of Derby, KS, Janice Souder and husband William of Mulvane, KS; Three Stepsons, Raymond Titus and wife Patricia of Watts, OK, William Titus of Prairie Grove, AR, Michael Titus of San Angelo, TX; Stepdaughter, Dedra Titus of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by Father, Edward Nusz, Mother, Olive Nusz, Brother, Wayne Nusz, Sister, Betty Smith

Viewing will be held Friday, March 11, 2022, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, 10:00 am at the First Christian Church, with Pastor Dan Biernacki, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Liberal City Cemetery.
