Nada F. Craig, age 81, passed away early Friday morning, November 17, 2017, at the Meade District Hospital, Meade, Kansas.
She was born January 11, 1936, at Agra, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence and Ada Pearl (Randall) Holbrook. As a young girl, she attended the Agra school system. A resident of Meade since 2002, moving from Hill City, Kansas, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed going to auctions, watching sports and car races, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends.
In 1958, she married William C. (Bill) Craig at Phillipsburg, Kansas. He precedes her in death on December 12, 2014.
She is survived by her children, Kippy Garrison of Hays, Kansas, Danny Wiley of Cozad, Nebraska, Clinton Wiley of Scott City, Kansas, Bill Craig, Jr of Scott City, Kansas, Steven Craig of Meade, Kansas, Kevin Craig of Scott City, Kansas, and Clifton Craig of Hill City, Kansas; a sister, Ethel Weems of McPherson, Kansas; a brother, Arnold Holbrook of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; six brothers, Owen, Earl, Glen, Raymond, Orville, and Robert; and three sisters, Dorothy, Mildred Ruby, and Delva.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Graceland Cemetery, Meade.
The family would welcome memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in care of the funeral home.
