Morris Lynn Kapp

Morris Lynn Kapp, 82, was born December 10, 1932 in Moscow, KS and passed from this life on April 10, 2015 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Morris resided in Oklahoma City, OK in the 1950’s with his wife Marilyn Ann Kapp and three of their children before moving his family to Liberal, KS and having two more children. He drove a semi-truck for Moran Brothers of Liberal, KS for twenty years; before, driving for Yellow Freight out of Liberal, KS; making runs to Albuquerque, NM. He was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church. Morris enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Morris moved to Yukon, OK with his wife in 1996 to continue driving a truck for Yellow Freight and later retired. Since then; Morris became a member of the First United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and watching his great grandchildren play sports. He is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Ann Kapp, father Eugene C. Kapp, mother Irena Wadell, three brothers: Dick Kapp, Tom Kapp, and Keith Kapp, and one sister Martha Lea Kapp. Morris is survived by daughter Cheri Adams and husband Bill, son Rodney Kapp and wife Carolyn, son Robin Kapp and wife Lori, son Kim Kapp, and daughter Darla Liberty and one sister Emajean. Morris is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Viewing for friends and family members alike to greet will be held at Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd, Liberal, KS, Tuesday, April 14, 2015, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 15, at Moscow United Methodist Church, Moscow, KS, with Pastor Timothy McCrary presiding, with interment following at Moscow Cemetery.
