Michelle Meek, 61, died November 29, 2013 at her residence in Liberal, KS.
She was born July 20, 1952 at Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Janiver
and Grace Louise (Pittman) Dellinger.

She graduated from Liberal High School in 1970 and then studied computer
science at Seward County Community College. For the past 12 years, she
has worked as the Information Technician for the Liberal Police
Department. She had previously worked many years at D. K. Zimmerman
Insurance as an Insurance Agent.

Michelle was a huge supporter of the Liberal Animal Shelter, Liberal
Area Rape Crisis Center and to the community in general, always
assisting people in need. She was an avid concert goer, loved
Rock-n-Roll music, shopping for shoes and gardening. Attending her
family’s activities and nurturing her many friendships were very
important to her. She had been married to Perry Brooks. Then on February
17, 1984, she married Bill S. Meek in Liberal, KS. He survives.

Daughter: Farrah Robinson of Turpin, OK
2 Sisters: Cathy Ready of Coldwater, KS Robin Martin and husband Clay of
Edmond, OK
Step-Brother: Jeff Eichman and wife Shari of McPherson, KS
Step-Sister: Monica Koehn and husband Ernie of McPherson, KS
6 Grandchildren: Bethani McIntire, Cade McIntire, Shanae Riggs and
husband Jacob, Isaac Phillpott, Kyra Meek and Shawn Meek
1 Great-Grandson: Noah Riggs Mother-in-law: AnnaLee Meek of Liberal

She was preceded death by her Mother, Grace Louise Eichman, Step-Father,
Bob Eichman and Father-in-law, Billy Gene Meek.

Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, Dec. 7th at First Southern
Baptist Church, located at 7th and Western in Liberal with Rev. Rex
Petty presiding. A guest book will be available to sign from 9 am – 5 pm
on Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers and plants,
memorial donations are suggested to Susan G. Komen for the Cure in c/o
Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
