Michelle Lynn (Flenniken) Mouser

Michelle Lynn (Flenniken) Mouser, 52, died on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born to Linda Kay (Rich) and Vernon Michael Flenniken on November 3, 1967 in Hobbs, New Mexico. She married Keith Mouser on May 21, 2016 in Hooker, Oklahoma. A 1986 Liberal High School graduate, Michelle continued her education receiving a bachelor’s degree in education from Newman University and later completing a master’s degree, also in education.

In her spare time Michelle loved reading or watching a murder mystery on TV. She had a passion for fast cars and enjoyed taking her furious fuchsia Challenger out on the open road. She and Keith took pleasure in going to casinos and playing Texas Hold’em. Michelle’s most precious time was that spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Keith of the home; a daughter, Madison Downs of Hooker, OK; two sons, Ryan Flenniken and husband Mike Aguilar of Liberal, KS, and Austin Downs of Liberal, KS; step-sons, Morgan Mouser of Pauls Valley, OK, Marcus Mouser of Fairview, OK, Braxton Mouser of Lefors, TX, and Chaston Mouser of Lefors, TX; her parents, Mike and Linda Flenniken of Liberal, KS; and two sisters, Dianna Flenniken of Overland Park, KS, and Tina Gregg of Enid, OK.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Thelma Rich; and her paternal grandparents, Vernon and Ethel Flenniken.

Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Miller Mortuary in Liberal, Kansas, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Cremation will take place following the visitation. Miller Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
