Michael Rose

Michael Rose, 66 of Liberal, KS, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at St. Joseph, Missouri.

He was born May 28, 1947 at Liberal, KS, the son of Richard and Victoria (Caldwell) Rose

He married Gene Hensley on September 2, 1989 at Liberal, KS. She survives.

Mike was a graduate of Liberal High School class of 1967. He was a owner/operator for National Carriers for 16 years. Michael loved to be behind the wheel of his truck and being with his family .

His survivors include one daughter: Pamela Post and husband Chris of Cypress, TX, One son Jeffrey Rose and wife Dorinda of Oklahoma City, OK, 2 Step Daughters: Kerry Cobb of Austin, TX, Francy Hensley of Ennis, TX; and 1 step son – Charles Hensley and wife Tia of Ennis, TX; 1 Brother: Roger Rose, 11 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Victoria.

Funeral Ceremony will be at 10:00 am Monday at First Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Hensley celebrating. Interment will follow at the Arkalon Cemetery.
