Michael Leroy Betzold, 64, of Liberal, Kansas passed away on April 4, 2017 in Hereford, Texas.

He was born on October 26, 1952 to Leo L. and Luella (Brooks) Betzold of Scott City, KS. He was a graduate of Scott Community High School. As well as MMI at Pheonix, AZ. Mike served his country in the U.S Army in Germany. Mike worked as a Truck driver for Carpe Diem and worked as a motorcycle mechanic. On June 3, 1978 he married Marley Head of Scott City .

He was a believer of the Lutheran faith, Member of the American Legion Riders, Sublette, Kansas Chapter, Liberal American Legion, as well as the Liberal H.O.G. Chapter.

Mike is survived by his loving spouse Marley Betzold of 38 years. Mother Luella Betzold of Hutchinson Kansas. Two Daughters, Breiann Betzold and husband Riff Dickson of Burlson, TX, Lacey Betzold of Pampa, TX, Brother, Morris Betzold and wife Barbara of Hutchinson, KS; Two Sisters, Martha Gawdun of Denver, CO, and Monica Chapman of Reno, NV. Three Grandchildren, Logan Dickson, Hayden Betzold and Mikayla Betzold.

He was preceded in death by Father, Leo L. Betzold, Brother, Mark Betzold.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the family home from 2:00pm – 4:00pm Saturday, April 8, 2017

There will be no public visitation, as cremation has taken place.

Memorial may be given to the American Legion Riders, Sublette Chapter.
