Maximiliano “Max” Arcos-Salgado

, 18, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at the BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX.

He was born on April 20, 2005 to Teodoro Arcos-Avila and Graciela Salgado-Romero at Liberal, KS.

Max was a graduate of Liberal High School; class of 2023 where he was active on the wrestling team and played the Trumpet with “That” Liberal Band. He was currently working at Wal-Mart in Liberal. Max was resilient, graceful, loving, humble, and of course the most handsome young man you could ever meet. He was a gift to anyone who heard his voice or felt his warm hugs. He loved Monarch butterflies, gaming, working out, camping, the color of burgundy, black, and sage green. Max had always been passionate about donating to others in need and in his passing gave the gift of life through organ donation.

He is survived by his parents, Teodoro Arcos-Avila and Graciela Salgado-Romero of Liberal, KS; Two Brothers, Luis Arcos-Salgado of Liberal, KS and Junior Arcos-Salgado of Liberal, KS; Sister, Tanya Arcos-Salgado of Dumas, TX; Best Friend, Emma Davidson of Liberal, KS.

Viewing will be 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Miller Mortuary.

A Vigil Service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023; 7:00 pm at the St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, 10:00 am at the St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with Fr. Charles Seiwert, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Liberal City Cemetery.
