Mary Patton

Mary Patton, 91, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at her daughter’s residence in Hutchison, Kansas.

She was the daughter of William Walter and Lura (Hapgood) Archer, born on May 2, 1932, in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.

She was married to George Leon Patton on October 10, 1949 in Durham, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 1, 2015.

She attended the Patterson Avenue Church of God, Ulysses for many years.

Mary loved being around her family. Her hobbies were cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting, and camping.

Her survivors a son, Dannie Patton and wife Charlene, Topeka, KS.; Leona “Kay” Eveleigh and Gale, Ulysses, KS., Mary “Sue” Grice, Garden City, KS., Helen Marie Walters and husband Steven, Hutchinson, KS.; a sister, Helen Ellingwood, Eureka, CA.; 14 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Charlie, Lonnie, Burwin, Keene and Orval; five sisters, Ruth, Nellie, Ola, Thelma Veryl, Ruby.

Memorials have been established for Reno County Hospice and Parkinson’s Disease Association in care of Robson Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Ulysses, KS 67880

Funeral Service will be on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at New Beginnings Church, Ulysses, Kansas. Graveside Service will be on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home, Ulysses, KS.
