Mary Lee “Granny” Murray

Mary Lee “Granny” Murray, 83, of Turpin, OK passed away on Thursday March 5, 2020 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

She was born on June 23, 1936 to Robert and Anna Mae(Powell) Crosier at Canadian, TX.

On May 9, 1952 she married Kenneth Andrews Sr. in Clovis, NM. On May 2, 1977 she married Donald L. Murray in Liberal, KS; he preceded her in death on February 18, 2001.

Mary retired from Southwest Medical Center in 2009 where she worked in Housekeeping. Mary was a warm, loving woman who enjoyed making cookies, keeping up with her friends and family on Facebook, watching her favorite TV programs, taking care of people, and greatly loved her grandchildren! She was a member of All Nations Church of Liberal.

Mary is survived by her, Three Sons, Kenneth Andrews, Jr and wife Fran of Liberal, KS, Michael Andrews of Turpin, OK, Donnie Murray and wife Chris of Turpin, OK; Two Daughters, Debbie Shields of Stroud, OK, Lora Chapa and husband Fernando of Kingman, KS; 16 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, Two Brothers. Raymond Crosier and wife Novella of Okmulgee, OK; James Crosier and wife Rosemary of Liberal, KS; One Sister, Anna Marie Neese of Aurora, Colorado, Daughter In Law, Cathy Andrews of Junction City, KS; Several Nieces & Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sons, Danny Andrews and Michael Ward, Granddaughter, Jacqui Wheat and one Sister, Naomi Beard.

Viewing will be 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Monday, March 9, 2020, at Miller Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at the All Nations Church, with Pastor Jimmy Holman, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Liberal City Cemetery.
