Mary Jo Muir

Mary Jo Muir, 72, Liberal, KS, died Friday, July 29, 2011 at Southwest

Medical Center, Liberal, KS.

She was born June 14, 1939 in Meade, KS, the daughter of

Charles R. & Minnie L. Collins Woltje.

She attended Liberal Schools and was a sales clerk for several

retail stores, later worked at Southwest Medical Center for seven

years.

On December 3, 1957, she married Bill Muir at Clayton, NM, he

died August 30, 1994.

Mary is survived by three sons, Stacy Muir, Escondido, CA;

Stewart & Randy Muir, Liberal, KS; two daughters,

Deborah Knobloch, Great Bend, KS; Veda Biller, Olpe, KS;

five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents,

a son Stephen Muir.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday at the

Miller Chapel, with Rev. Rex Petty presiding.

Interment will be in the Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 2-8 P.M. Sunday

and 9 A.M. until service time Monday.
