Mary “Frankie” Hardin, 91, of Liberal, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Wheatridge Care Park at Liberal, KS.

She was born on January 4, 1933 to Frank and Cordelia “Dee” (Parker) Conrad at Duncan, OK.

On July 24, 1951 she married Floyd Hardin at Lawton, OK; he preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Beaver High School in Beaver, OK; class of 1951. Frankie worked as an Activities Director for Liberal Good Samaritan for 23 years before retiring in 1996.
She was an avid reader of Western Novels, Christian Fiction, and the Bible. She also enjoyed doing Word Search Puzzles and being a bit of a Prankster. Frankie was a social butterfly that loved visiting with people.

Frankie is survived by her daughter, Lucinda C. (Victor) Henness of Liberal, KS; two sons, Curtis (Cindy) Hardin of Liberal, KS, Doug (Karrie) Hardin of Turpin, OK; eight grandchildren,14 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, an honorary son, Tom Rainey, a very special niece, Kimberley Graham along with several nieces & nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, George Conrad and Benny Conrad, two sisters, Jo Graham and Peggy Thomason, and grandson Michael Henness.

There will be no public viewing

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, 1:00 pm at the Miller Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor David Harris, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Forgan Cemetery in Forgan, OK.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Judes Children’s Hospital in care of Miller Mortuary PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67905-0826.
