Mary C. Kaiser: UPDATE

Mary C. Kaiser, 90, of Guymon, Oklahoma passed away September 24, 2013 at Good Samaritan Center in Liberal, Kansas.

Mary Christine Reed was born December 13, 1922 in Haskew, Oklahoma, the daughter of Amos and Fannie Behrens Reed. She attended Freezeout rural school in the Haskew Community

She was united in marriage to Walter L. Kaiser on November 29, 1941. Walter was inducted into the US Army and they were station at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. They later lived in many locations in Oklahoma and Kansas.

Mary was a Baptist by faith; a member of the Rebekas, loved crocheting making afghans for most of her family; she canned, baked and enjoyed collecting cars and stuffed animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter on July 9, 1987; two brothers, Johnny Reed and Leo Reed; four sisters, Ethel Hurst, Eva Sample, Mable Parsons, Easter Clark; two infant siblings and her son-in-law, Jim Forrester.

Survivors include two sons, Donald & Mickey Kaiser of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, Richard Kaiser of Guymon, Oklahoma; one daughter, Mianna Forrester of Hooker, Oklahoma; one brother, Henry & Susan Reed of Midwest City, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, Doug & Renee Davis, Allen & Connie Davis, Barbara & Earl Mallard, Melissa & Kevin Hook, Jolene Sworde, Michael & Nicole Kaiser, Amanda Wachob, Elizabeth Younger, Andrea Kaiser, David Kaiser; eighteen great grandchildren; twenty great great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma 73945.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Gospel of Grace Church in Hooker, Oklahoma with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating. Interment will be in the Hooker Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. in Hooker, Oklahoma.
