Martin Rodriguez Rojo, age 39 died Monday, March 13, 2023, outside of Oakwood, Oklahoma.

He was born on September 25, 1983, the son of Roberto Rodriguez Ortiz and Esperanza Rojo Rodriguez in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Martin completed his formal education at the 8th grade and went on to become a self-employed truck driver. On September 29, 2005, he was united in marriage to Bertha Pando in Ulysses, Kansas. Martin was the father of one son, Martin Rodriguez, and one daughter, Anay Rodriguez. He enjoyed working on his semi, his trucks, and detailing his vehicles. Martin greatest joy came from spending time with his family on vacations, going to the dunes riding 4-wheelers or his Can-Am. He loved singing, dancing, and cooking on the grill with all his family and friends. Martin was a nice, humble, and caring person, always thinking about the wellbeing of his family. He was always there to provide a helping hand to his friends and co-workers. He blessed us with his life, his laughter and his love. Martin will forever be remembered with a smile on his face and his positive attitude.

siblings, Joaquin Rodriguez Rojo, Antonio Rodriguez Rojo, Maria da la Paz Rodriguez Rojo, Cayetano Rodriguez Rojo, Margarita Bustillos Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez Rojo, Jesus Rodriguez Rojo, Victor Manuel Rodriguez Rojo, and Carmen Rodriguez Mendoza,

He is preceded in death by his father, Roberto Rodriguez and sister, Concepcion Rodriguez Rojo.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Vigil Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM Monday, April 3, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 4, 2023, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas. Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Juan Salas.

Burial will follow at Liberal Cemetery.
