Marion Lorraine (Greenlee) Wolf, 95, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton, KS. Born in Scott City, KS on August 11, 1926, Marion was the daughter of Samuel Rea and Iona May (Goetchius) Greenlee.

g
A graduate of Scott City High School, Marion received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Kansas in 1951, and a year later, she and her husband, Paul, made their home in Hugoton. A devoted member of the Hugoton United Methodist Church and the PEO Sisterhood, Marion actively served on various boards and committees. This included her service as a member of the USD 210 Board of Education for many years.
In addition to her service to the community, Marion shared her artistic talents at various area art showings and exhibits. Skilled in many media, with oil and pastel being her favorites, Marion’s paintings reflected her love of the southwest terrain. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, knitting, reading, and watching KU basketball games.
Marion cherished her faith, and her time with family and friends; they will miss her humor, warmth, wisdom, and grace. Marion is survived by her brother, Wallace (Sheila); her children Franklin (Marcia), Carol (Troy Moore), and Douglas; and her grandchildren Amy (Robert Hopkins), Michael, and Emily. Marion’s parents and her husband, Paul A. Wolf, preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Hugoton United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice.  Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
